The Doctor and Angel continue their travels through time and space by landing on the colony world MX-13. This base, referred to by its workers as the Nest, mines for precious metals with radiation powered drills. Little do the workers know that lurking under the base is another kind of nest. The Doctor and Angel soon discover radioactive wasp like aliens on the loose killing workers. The captain of the Nest refuses to shut down the drill though. Why is the captain so intent to keep drilling? And how many more people will die before the Doctor and Angel can convince him otherwise? Nearly two years ago Violet lost her brother in a horrific car accident. Six months after that she's reunited with his best friend, Grey, the one who was driving at the time. Forced to keep their 'relationship' a secret they spend their time sneaking around and mostly fighting--something Violet's sick of. The entire town, her parents, and her best friend view Michael Grey as someone that ruined her life and killed her brother. Violet views him as one of the best things to ever happen to her, but also one of the worst. But when another tragedy strikes, everything changes.

The store was dark as I looked into the window. I guess I got here first. I pushed my key into the handle, but the door opened with out me even unlocking it. Very, very slowly, I stepped into the unknown. I walked to the other side of the blackened room, my heels clicking on the polished marble with every step. Sliding my hands along the back wall of the jewelry store, I felt for the switch. Finding something that was cold to the touch, the edge of the thing that protects you from exposed wires, I slide my hand a little further. A warm object encloses around my hand causing me to scream. I get swung around and I collide with a wall. Now my back is pressed against a wall, and a warm body is pressing into me. I gasp and get silenced by a metallic tasting object. The light gets flicked on by someone else, and a instantly regret coming to work even more now. I have the business end of a pistol in my mouth, the person on the other side, the safer side of the gun, laughs at my startled reaction. A deep laughter fills my head, causing my ears to ring. I know that laughter. I look at the person holding me to the wall. He used to be the manager here, but he got fired after an incident with another worker. I was promoted to manager after he was fired. My wide eyes travel up to his black ones. They were filled with an emotion that I couldn't decipher. He smelled so good, and I couldn't stop inhaling, mostly because I was scared shitless right now. "Well, I was hoping to shoot the bitch who got my job taken away, but I can't shoot my mate." Carrie doesn't want a mate, so she does everything to reject him. She already rejected her old pack, and now the walls she build come crumbling down on her sixteenth birthday. The day she becomes a true Alpha.

It is the year 2025 and not much has changed. We still drive cars and fly planes. We live in homes not spaceships and people still fall in love, but there is just one problem, you cannot trust just anyone. Tessa is sixteen going on twenty six. She had to fend for herself for the last four years and lived a boring life working as a waitress. She lived in a boring apartment with only a monkey as companion. Soon Tessa's life would take a not so boring turn.

Everyone's biggest fear when being sixteen is the world ending. I know that the world doesn't end when you pass the sixteenth year, so I wrote this for anyone that thinks it does.
