The rest of the oblivious town begins to spin their own stories about the crime, but five teenagers know the truth. They know a tourist who accidentally caught it all on camera, and they have until sunrise before they get the footage from him and bring the truth to light. Reckless, bored, and foolish, the five of them set off on a wild, spiraling chase across San Viejo's streets, backroads, dead ends, and burning bridges. Along the way, they experience a night that is electric, fun, and daunting; enough to turn their whole lives around. For better or for worse is not a question they need to answer. Yet. But how long will their imaginary capes last once the monsters of the world they're fighting begin to bite back?
