The galaxy has had centuries of peace and prosperity under the Republic. Since the Destruction of the Sith after the Seventh Battel of Ruusan, the republic and Jedi have grown laxed and corrupt. The Jedi have become nothing more then the guard dogs of corrupted senate full of senators whos only goal are the enrichment and advancement of themselves . The outer rim are bled for their resources by corporations that feed the core worlds. They sit in on the senate themselves, passing laws to benefit themselves and their shareholders. The Galaxy is clamoring for a change...for a hero to save them...but outside of this galaxy waits an enemy that hunger for domination and conquest. Can Ulic Fel a child brought up in the ways of the Jedi be able to help hold the galaxy together and keep to the code of the Jedi or is the time of the Republic and the Jedi at an end...

Count Dooku's triumph is nearly upon him. The Separatists have attacked Coruscant, Chancellor Palpatine is being held onboard the Invisible Hand, with Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in pursuit to rescue the captured leader of the Republic. Dooku prepares to execute Darth Sidious's final step to fulfill the Sith Grand Plan. At least, that is what he has been led to believe.......

Rey shook her head, "Ben, give it to me." That's when Ben froze, seeing a memory light up Rey's mind. It was from earlier, in the hallway, as Rey was watching him walk away. Ben heard Rey's curious thoughts then of his sudden peace and her misplaced pain. He heard her question if taking his pain is what gave him that peace. Ben walked quickly over to her now and fell to his knees in front of her. She refused to look him in his eyes, though he certainly tried to make her do it. A single tear rolled down Rey's face. "Give it back to me." Ben said with a broken voice, wishing he knew what was going on and what he was feeling. His ignorance to this situation made him afraid. What exactly he was afraid of, he did not know, but it wasn't of Rey. Her body became more tense, her face more red. Ben felt her trying to hold onto the thing that was making her so angry, he felt it trying to escape her consciousness. She was sending every nerve, fiber, and brain cell in her body to keep it there with her. The girl standing in front of him was not Rey; she was long gone. ****************** Luke Skywalker has begun training his own generation of Jedi. His student and nephew, Ben Solo, is slowly falling to the dark side because of his fear of never owning up to the legacy of his bloodline. During a time when Luke was losing all hope in helping Ben, a young girl was left at the door of the Jedi Academy, causing Luke to feel a strong shift in the Force around him. Once learning the dangerous truth of the child, Luke planned to hide her from the enemy she would inevitably attract by placing her on another planet within the forgotten parts of the galaxy. When Ben learned of his uncle's plan for the girl, he fought against it, leaving Luke with no other choice than to prepare for the war he knew would soon find them.

This is a story that takes place five years after the events of the Last Jedi. Though I did enjoy the Rise of Skywalker, I expected the Knights of Ren and Finn to have a bigger part in it and for the narrative to go a different direction. So this is my take on Episode 9. I hope you enjoy it! Based on Star Wars characters that are intellectual property of Lucasfilm and Disney.
