Of distant rooftops, secret skies, and a boy she trusts more than anyone.. But when the lines between dreams and reality begin to blur, everything safe starts to shift.. I wish that I could say that this story begins conventionally, with something exciting happening that launches you straight into the action, or that it begins with a ‘once upon a time’ that explains my entire life story in a paragraph. But sadly, I am not that exciting, and nor is the beginning of this story because real life doesn’t work like that. So unfortunately, as great as all this would be, my story begins with burnt toast.

Sometimes she wakes up surrounded by money and jewels, other times she wakes up with the local mafia's business card in her pocket. But this time, this time she's really screwed up. This time she woke up drenched in somebody's dark, metallic blood. With a gun in one hand and a knife in the other. Ash doesn't know what to do anymore, with the guilt tearing her apart she hides away. She is known as the 'Hidden Nightmare'...

"Tommorow's the first day of school!!!" squealed Jillian. "Ugh, don't remind me, Jill," I hissed. I know what your thinking. I'm your typical American teenager who hates school. I'm a sleepwalker. And first night of school sleepwalking is the worst. It always turns out bad. Always. When I was eight, I broke my arm. Six I lost a tooth. I mean it was simpler back then. But it gets worse now. And I always am left with like two friends or popularity.

"With every night, she got closer to the edge." (I wrote this short story in reference to the topic of making decisions in your life) Honestly, I don't really know what that story is about. It is just a short story I came up with and that I wanted to share. English is no t my first language, so I hope there are not too many mistakes. Feel free to point them out, so I can improve my english skills.
