That's what Hagrid told him three years ago, the day Harry Potter, the boy who lived, life had turned upside down on his eleventh birthday. My eyes meet his green ones, and I see the same things I always do when I look into them; Him helping me at the Quidditch World Cup, him giving me his coat, him placing his hand on mine; I think back to all those nights in the kitchens, in the potions classroom, in the library. I think back to every word, every secret we had exchanged with one another. We knew everything about each other, yet nothing at the same time, and, at the moment, I realized he was much too close. I wanted to pull away. I should pull away, I think to myself, but... I stay put, frozen in place as I attempt what I think is a smirk. "Never in your wildest dreams," I then answer. And just like that, his lips land on mine.
