After Arthur died and magic was legalized, Merlin traveled and met plenty of people who benefited from his knowledge before he settled down by the shores of Lake Avalon to wait for Arthur's return. He founded a hidden community and became famous, but soon grew weary of the attention and faked his own death, leaving only a few with the knowledge of his location. He took on many apprentices over the years, each more talented than the last. However, our story will include only three. Severus Snape, Colin Creevey, and Harry Potter.
