Love is found in the colours we never expected to see.
Prologue / Character Introduction
Twenty-five-year-old Harmony Jones has spent her entire life in London with her twin brother, Noah, and their father. Ever since her mother passed away when Harmony was just six years old, the three of them have relied on each other through life's ups and downs.
Quiet, kind, and incredibly talented, Harmony expresses herself through art rather than words. Her paintings capture emotions she struggles to say aloud. Although she has a close-knit group of friends, she finds it difficult to trust new people. Years of relentless bullying at school left scars that never truly healed, making her shy and hesitant to let anyone get too close.
For as long as she can remember, Harmony has dreamed of visiting South Korea. She's captivated by its rich history, vibrant streets, breathtaking landscapes, and thriving art scene. She spends countless evenings learning Korean, sketching traditional architecture, and imagining what it would feel like to finally stand beneath Seoul's glowing skyline.
When an opportunity arises to spend the summer in Korea studying its culture while creating art for an international exhibition, Harmony believes it's the chance she's been waiting for. She hopes the journey will help her find confidence, discover herself, and leave her painful past behind.
What she doesn't expect is to meet someone who will change her life forever.
Sometimes, the greatest distance between two people isn't measured in miles... but in the walls they've built around their hearts. And sometimes, the longest journey is only one heartbeat away.
