Everyone has a soulmate, and they all each share an identifying mark. However, Sora doesn't seem to have any identifying mark besides the discoloration of his left eye, a mark no one has ever seen before. Because of his special mark, Sora doubts he'll ever be able to find the one he's meant to be with. That is, until the new kid in town shows up with an eye discoloration of his own.

This story depicts a romantic relationship between Sora and Riku, who are two characters from the Kingdom Hearts video game series. They have been friends for a long time, but after their latest adventure, they realize that they have developed feelings for each other that go beyond friendship. They start a romantic relationship and eventually get married in a small ceremony on Destiny Islands with their closest friends in attendance. The story ends with Sora and Riku sitting by the fire, enjoying each other's company and feeling overwhelmed with love for each other.
