Once a strange portal arrives in Bonnie's room, Forky (Tony Hale) and his pal Giggle McDimples (Ally Maki) both try to investigate. However, the two find themselves sucked into the Cave Of Wonders. Finding a strange B-Bot named Ron (Zach Galifanakis) stuck in the sand, the three are warned by the Cave itself (Frank Welker) that they've all lost their sense of imagination. In order to get it back, they'll have to journey through different Disney and Pixar worlds, each with their own musical moment of imagination. But once they've finally got the hang of it, our three heroes find themselves in the dark. Will they try to make the best out of a bad situation, or will a friendly and familiar purple dragon change their minds?

The two become friends, and without realizing it begin to change each other for the better. As their friendshhip blooms, Kai and Sox learn to see life differently, having crazy adventures the whole trip.
