sometimes it's not a happily ever after

He never forgot the saying of Eubie Blake "Never trust anyone who wants what you've got. Friend or no, envy is an overwhelming emotion." But he never focused on the saying's real meaning or maybe he just took the easy way and ignored it? When he realized that he'd been deeply betrayed, fear really hit him. That's what he had felt first. And then it was anger and frustration. Then disappointment and disilussionment. He just simply knew he couldn't trust anyone anymore although he knew he would live in torment if he didn't trust enough. He'd always thought the life of a person is a land full of thrones and weeds, although there is always a space in which the good seed can grow.

Phoebe, the youngest in her family, barely existed in her parents eyes, until after one day. One day that scarred the family. Well, the second 'one day' that left them traumatized for the rest of their days. After getting into a University on scholarship, Phoebe's brother, Ryan, becomes the center of attention and Phoebe thinks she's gone unnoticed-- until one day when she becomes noticed in someone else's eyes. But not only her eyes, but her eyes, ears, hands, and feet-- she becomes controlled. Her family had ignored her, but she was going to make them remember her-- in the scariest of ways, but those aren't the only words she remembers. In her dreams, she always hears the same words... every night. "I will only leave when I have truly been remembered," But Phoebe's not herself anymore. She's someone else.

Pain

It was a beautiful morning, but it got worse ! I was in my house all alone when all of a sudden I heard a loud bang "BANG BANG BANG" it got louder by every minute ! When I went to see what it was something whooshed by me but I got a glipmes off it ,it was a woman but I couldn't see her face .Then she ran out the door.I tried going after her, but I lost her.When I got home "BOOM" all of the sudden the power went out.I got some candles and an old radio and I heard that some woman get one of the power lines.Now, she has the power to touch anyone and kill them with just one small touch.I heard a man scream "stay away from me who are you" ! When I went to see if he was OK he was dead and I knew that it was her.She was still in the house somewhere I got out of the house in time.I fought her and I won and she didn't hurt anyone ever again .

For anyone who's ever felt they were alone and forgotten about themselves, their problems, and/ or their lives. Your not. We all imperfect; we all have scars, whether emotionally or physically. Most people think these are our flaws, they're not. These things make us stronger and more determined for what's coming in the future. Every poem in this book is about something you could be going through - except it's from someone else's point of view. Hope you enjoy!
