This is one of my favorite musicals and I actually got to see it on Broadway, in NY, for a drama field trip! It was amazing and I want to show everyone how great this musical really is. Grainhill Boarding is hosting their annual musical to start off the new school year. One of the students is a renowned teen actress, another a rock musician who's still learning. They both want the most 'spectacular' role in the play, and they both loathe each other. But, over time, they begin to grow.. close. (This is part of my Strawberry Shortcake boarding school AU! All characters belong to their respective companies - I know that CJ and LL hail from different generations - except for my OCs. ALSO, credit goes to John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick for writing the original Something Rotten. It's such a peak musical OH MY GODDDD)
