Shadow notices Eggman accessing Professor Genald Robotnik's files and suspects he's up to something. Shadow then informs Sonic about a possible new evil scheme as he's reporting to G.U.N. Naturally, Sonic goes to Eggman's lair to stop whatever he's planning. Sonic ends up interrupting Eggman during an experiment which results in an explosion. Everyone seems to be okay, but the explosion caused a mutation in the RNA-DNA transcription process in Sonic.

Sonic has come up with strange symtoms and its up to him to fight along with being beside his husband shadow and there friends will he survive or will he die? WARNING if you are squeamish to this topic of virus and death DO NOT READ!!!! Have fun and enjoy!

On a cold, rainy day, Sonic discovers an abandoned infant hedgehog on the streets. With no choice but to take the baby girl in, Sonic seeks Shadow out for help. Reluctantly, Shadow agrees to foster the baby girl with Sonic after she starts calling him 'daddy'. "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain," these words fall out as he smirked. ------ It has been years ever since Mephiles disappeared and never showed up again. People thought he was gone for good, yet a fragment that reeks energy of that familiar sphere was found and lies in G.U.N. headquarters for now. Shadow, of course, was summoned for the purpose of getting things straight. But Shadow himself as a contributor of Mephiles' escape, could not help much either, as he had no relevant information. After weeks of futile mission to find reasons for the appearance of what seems to be Mephiles's possessions, G.U.N. decided to seek reinforcement from Tails. As the evaluation is in progress, Shadow was sent to collect the shattered pieces of the Scepter of Darkness. However, this time is different, which came to his surprise that G.U.N. approved Sonic's volunteer to join the classified mission. Companions, friends, perhaps frenemies, Shadow couldn't describe their relationship. It felt weird to have someone once again, shine their way into his life like... what Maria used to. Personally, he thinks its delightful. Unconsciously, he cherished Sonic's charisma. Earnestly, he protected Sonic's bright character. He will not once again lost what he had lost. But somehow, it seems that what he wanted to protect has already long gone. ----- "Looks like you're the naïve one," Sonic gave a small throw of the scepter and catched it midair, "to think I would really care about anything, anyone," he looked downwards at the dark hedgehog that looked at him unbelievably, "awww boohoo, I used to haha, really I do," He tilted up Shadow's chin with the scepter, gave a cold stare at the blood-covered hedgehog with half-closed eyelids, "but now I don't give a shit anymore, everyone could just go and fuck themselves." Attention: slow story, might make you feel bad (someone says they feel not really good after reading on AO3).

Shadow and Sonic have been fighting for a while now. At first, they were just doing their common fighting slightly annoying for their friends, but they dealt with it. Then their fights became more violent. Suddenly a fight gone too far making Sonic ignore Shadow.

This story is based off Sonic Unleashed and an idea that SonicAnon gave me. Sonic and Shadow have been dating and have been trying to have a baby for a while. So when the world starts breaking apart and Dark Gaia is rising from the depths of the earth, Sonic finally gets pregnant with triplets. Bad idea. The Light Gaia, Chip, who has lost all his memory, joins Sonic and Shadow in saving the planet, but with Sonic's due date approaching quickly, Shadow starts being overprotective of Sonic and the unborn triplets, and could cost them the world.

Shadow would be invited to his boyfriend Sonic's annual Christmas party, but due to previous trauma, Christmas would be a much harder time for Shadow than anyone would have expected. Art by Karmindey on IG
