In their final year of high school, Kyle Broflovski and Eric Cartman have perfected the art of hating each other. Every insult, every fight, every glare has been their twisted normal... until one drunken confession threatens to shatter everything.
When the truth comes out that their hatred has always been a mask for something much deeper, Kyle completely freaks out; he can't, like, Cartman. He won't like Cartman. So he does the one thing he thinks will fix it: he gets a girlfriend.
Watching Kyle parade around with someone else destroys Cartman more than he'll ever admit. Hurt and spiraling, he dives headfirst into the senior party scene alcohol, illegal highs, and people who don't care if he crashes and burns.
But when Kyle hears Cartman is in trouble, he drops everything and runs to him. In the middle of chaos, secrets, and broken pride, Kyle finally stops lying to himself.
Because some feelings are too strong to stay buried.
And maybe hating Cartman was never the truth... loving him was.
