Rebecca, a black South African young woman in her mid twenties suddenly decides to leave her boyfriend of four years and her job as lawyer at a corporate company to open her own publishing company. She meets Elizabeth (Lizzy) who partners up with her to start the new business. Together they go through the ups and downs of running a business, especially since they have not found their best seller until an interesting book lands in their office. Things begin to look up until Rebecca learns who the author is. Drama unfolds, secrets come to light and she finds herself torn between two brothers.

Secrets are revealed and lies are told as Nompilo tries to get to the end of her self-discovery journey with the people she loves around her.

My story composes of mini-stories of funny and 'cringey' (a summary of personality) egg characters. It all started at my Grade 8 camp where we were split into groups according to our classes and had to tell a story with an egg or egg jokes. I would like to give a shoutout to my group, 8L (class of 2019), who won the game. I would like to thank myself for putting a lot of creative effort into the story we told. The story is my first mini-story that I edited and made as my own. My eight stories were fun egg jokes I made when I started developing my creative writing skills in Grade 11. Hope you egg-joy my humour! The egg-dings are quite odd but that's just my comedic nature. By the way the cover photo was taken 10 minutes before I wrote my description. This is all for fun so let my imagination spark more creativity in you.

It's been about four years and things couldn't have been better for Mango and Khaya. With welcoming their lovely daughter, Busisiwe, into the world, things were looking up. Or at least they thought.
