Long ago in the land of Aurious, beings of magic and humans lived together in harmony. Drawing power from the avra (life force) of plants and animals, they created beautiful cities and all were happy. Then, the first Osindious was born. A mix of magic users and humans, the child was born with a dark side. At first, they could control it, and they drew power from it, But one day, they lost control, and the darkness consumed them. Their dark side caused major death and destruction, till they were finally killed. Eventually the land recovered, but it would never be the same. Now, skip forward hundreds of years,all Osindious are killed on sight, and magic users are oppressed and mistrusted. Now, finally, an Osindious has survived, now, the world holds its breath, and waits for the destruction to follow. (Under editing.)

Soon, Kate realizes she is not happy with life as a Chosen. What will she do?
