A personal journey through a minefield of life and those " Selfish " thoughts that are ever present in the back of my throat and on the tip of my tongue but I dare not say. This is part one of how several poignant events that have happened that aided a pivotal role in the shaping and molding of what enabled me to be willing to lose everyone so the Voiceless could be heard, have a choice, how those thoughts inside yourself may just be the ones that you draw courage from. The most raw shameful of things about yourself are the same ones that save you from drowning in the opinions of others.

They Never Took My Voice is a powerful and emotional short story about a young person whose mother is taken by immigration enforcement. Through vivid memories and personal reflection, the narrator describes the fear that shaped their childhood, the sudden trauma of their mother's disappearance, and the pain of family separation. The story highlights how immigration policies affect real families, not just "cases" or "files.! Despite loss and injustice, the narrator finds strength in speaking out, transforming grief into activism. At its heart, the story is about resilience, identity, and the power of using your voice when everything else feels taken away.

Here is a short story about suicide. I hope this will remind you that if you were gone, it would effect a lot of people.

Kabe is a photographer living out his dream of taking pictures of people for different occasions. However, his interest shifts, but not totally when a customer steps through his studio's front door asking for a picture to be taken. "how did you get these scars ?" Is what everyone asks. Memories of you and me flash through my mind like a movie. Speeds past all the good then stutters through the bad leading me into the hurt that remained in my soul. The hurt that you shook off your shoulders and forced into a bullet that somehow fit onto cupids "fuck her" bow and drove its way into my core and released its insides into my very soul. Yes that very soul that I should've gave to you yet I sit there with a pasted smile on my face and say "that's what happens when you doing it right." The lies I tell just to make it seem like you don't matter eat away at my heart while I try to forget what you did for me. how did I get these scars ? I tried ripping out every part of you that was buried within my veins but I finally figured that if I continued id end up killing what my parents worked hard to create. Injecting myself with thousands of hate filled needles just to make my love for you disappear. to be continued…

A world divided by genetics. It's simple really. Have the people with the strongest genetics for survival stay, have the weak and sickly genes sent away. Now don't get it wrong, this has nothing to do with the color of a person's skin, hair, eyes, the numbers of fingers and toes the person has or even how attractive a person may potentially be. In this world if you have a 30% or higher chance of getting a disease, disorder or malfunction, you're sent away. This causes many complications and stipulations to occur. These two societies that govern and the possibility of a third that has been burned out of history.
