..It's not real Or is it? Autumn Santos never really considered fear part of her vocabulary. I mean, what's to fear, she has a stable loving family, two younger siblings, great friends, and she's in her senior year. What could go wrong? Except, things change. There's others out there. And they're not kind nor peaceful. Seranians are from Kaarinstina, a planet and species that has never interfered with Earth, not even knowing we existed like they did. But, after the world's largest leaders find out, and try to end the species before they end us, things go wrong. Very wrong. They want revenge. People hide, flee, just in time. Except Autumn. And 1,233 others. What do the Seranians like the most? Fear. ------ I was drowning. My head hurt. I've seen in the movies drown, but it was never as painful as this- a slow death killing me inch by inch. My lungs begged for oxygen, screaming in pain, and I hold on a little longer, the water freezing my skin to numbness. This is it. With no choice, I give up, slowly sinking, nothing but pain filling my senses.
