He moved forward so that the only dim light in that dark room, from the broken lamp hanging a bit above our heads, fell on him. The harsh light fell on his rough hardened yet kind of handsome face. His dark brown eyes that almost become a deep black in the dim light, looked straight at me and his lips curled up in a smirk. "Trust me, I wanted to see you eagerly, Christie." "Oh stop your games, __________. I am here because you said you will give me the map of the artifact." I replied, trying to sound strong even though I can feel my hands shaking. "Oh what's the hurry, sweetheart. You have to prove your worth to me first." He said and started moving forward towards me. His eyes fixated on me the whole time and I found myself moving backwards. "Wha.. what do you mean?" I asked scrunching my eyebrows at him, not quite trusting his words or his eyes. ........ Christie Beckett was ushered in the world of witches and wizards, unknowingly.
