Requiem, a land of the dead, lies between the living world and what most consider the true afterlife. Lost and damaged souls frequently come to Requiem to recover before continuing on to the afterlife and yet some... some choose to stay. One such soul is Yuraga Yura, a fallen princess, who watches over the inhabitants of the land. When Takenaka Hanbei arrives, Yura is tasked with helping him to heal his body and soul. But the tactician doesn't trust her, he hardly seems to believe Requiem is anything but a fever dream. Can she convince him to open his heart to her people? At a young age she was captured by the demons for information. She was tortured day in day out eventually getting numb to it, and slowly loosing her emotions as well. The demons start to loose their patience. Will she be able to escape? What will happen when she finally escapes? where will she go? Will they capture her once again? What was the information did the demons want from her? Book number two is out, again English is not my original language, I am terrible at grammar, and my update schedule is terrible.
