After Life Serial, Spike is discouraged at Buffy's ignorance to his feelings and he plans on spending the night alone, drinking in his crypt. Until an unexpected visitor barges in. Being given some perspective on his future with Buffy, he decides to change the game and take a vacation to Africa... I began this story with the intention of a Spike and Faith one-shot, but I decided on a Spuffy centric path instead. Hope you like it! :) All characters and some quotes belong to Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy, although the story is mine. No copyright infringement intended.

What is Buffy and Spike (and willow and Tara and anya) went to college together? There will be vampire bands, really bad poetry and fun romance times- but not for a while I like torturing you guys (i think people read this). This is a spuffy fic and like giles and spike i am completely and utterly confused with the US education system... nothing will be right but that's all part of the fun. Same fic as the college sucks one which i deleted this is a revised edition. There's no Riley (yay!), Anya gets wayyyy too much (though deserved) attention as she is undoubtedly my fav, somehow spike is even more pathetic than in the show, which I'd say is no mean feat.

Alternative S5 'Into the Woods'. Spike didn't take Buffy to the vamp house, only followed Riley there. Riley went to his crypt to almost-stake him as a threat to keep him from talking. Buffy remains ignorant of the affair... for a time.
