She hopes for the Headmistress to return, but cannot just sit and wait. Moving to uncover the secrets of magic, and of the school's past Leilani must come to terms with realization after realization. That some things are just as they seem. Samal is a family man who loves what he does and does what he loves. These things are put in jeopardy when a woman appears, bringing men with swords onto his farm who grievously wound his wife. Now thrust into a battle that he never wanted to be a part of. Samal makes a deal that can only help him if he survives.

Hey! I don't really have a description to this book, because it definitely isn't one! I'm just here to find an escape!
