Set in an alternative universe, Aubrey Posen is looking for a new roommate since her last one left due to Aubrey's controlling nature. Aubrey has trouble finding someone until a carefree party girl, Stacie Conrad, moves into the city, looking for somewhere cheap to live while she figures out what she wants to do with her life. Sceptical but desperate, Aubrey accepts Stacie into her home and the two women have to figure out a way to live together in harmony.
