Knowledge is currency. Alchemy is knowledge. Most people don't know it exists. Those who do call it heresy. Those who practice it call it ascension. Man wakes in the lightless depths of Tauran City Prison with no records, no past-only a vocabulary that doesn't belong to him. In a facility built to process human bodies, ignorance is a death sentence. To survive, he bonds with a parasitic alchemical metal: a weapon that grows stronger with blood, memory, and use. But power always comes at a price he doesn't yet understand. Guided by a man who knows too much and a girl who should not have survived this long, he descends through a system where alchemy is graded, identities fracture, and nothing is free. You are not a prisoner. You are a specimen. And ascension has already begun.

the smoking ruins of a restricted Piltover laboratory, Jinx finds more than just a Hextech anomaly-she finds a soulmate. When the pulsating, yellow-and-red containment pod of the Scream Symbiote shatters, it doesn't just bond with Jinx; it adores her. As the feminine, possessive entity weaves its hair-like tendrils into Jinx's signature blue braids, the two fractured beings find a lethal, unconditional devotion that neither Vi nor Silco could ever provide. Scream doesn't want to "fix" Jinx's madness-she wants to amplify it. While Vi and the Enforcers hunt the "blue monster" terrorizing the Undercity, and shadows of the symbiote's violent past cross through the rift to reclaim it, Jinx and Scream descend into a shared euphoria of anarchy. This is a story of trauma bonding, monstrous identity, and a romance so obsessive it threatens to level both Zaun and Piltover. Jinx doesn't need a savior. She has a sister-soul in the whispers, a lover in the shadows, and a symphony of chaos that is finally, beautifully, all her own.

For fifty years, the twelve floating Sun-Cities of Aethelgard have thrived on the Solar Pulse-a divine energy that grants the Elite power over heat and light. Kaelen was the Solaris Academy's greatest prodigy until he discovered the truth: the Pulse is failing, and the world is about to go dark. Exiled to the rotting sub-levels of the Grand Archive, Kaelen spends his days scavenging ancient tech-until he touches a forbidden data-shard and triggers the Thirteenth Signature. Guided by a mysterious Archivist with secrets of her own, he must find the Silent Crater to unlock the final code of the Thirteenth Founder. But the Null-Energy isn't just a weapon; it's a hunger. "Begone. Gone. For divinity has dispersed. Now humanity's destiny is forged. We are all labeled APOSTATIC." God's a fucking joke. You learn that pretty quick living under a sky full of pipes. This planet never had fuel. No coal. No oil. Nothing worth burning. After that steam engines invention, the industrial revolution came, because some brilliant psycho discovered the human body produces more energy than any engine ever built. After that? Everything went to hell. Steam towers, pressure boilers, turbine halls, gearworks big enough to swallow city blocks. Pipes running through buildings like veins. Dynamos humming day and night. The rich call it progress. Yeah, no shit. Down here we call it processing. And it turns out - people are the fuel now. We burn REAL great. The government runs a nice polite system called Contribution. Families give something to keep the generators spinning - a limb, a kid, sometimes the whole damn household if their district falls behind quota. Do it long enough and they Promote you. That means they bolt you into a pressure rig and let the turbines chew your pulse into electricity. Meanwhile the rich bastards float above us in their clean little sky-city pretending the world isn't powered by screaming. Down here it's gangs, rust, meat grinders, cannibalism drugs and cult freaks chanting that the engines are holy punishment. Dumbasses. Name's Poppy Van Carter. That's what the records tell me. Mechanic. Smoker. I keep broken steam engines alive because if they stop, the whole rotten city drops out of the sky. Funny thing is... Apparently my body produces more power than any damn boiler they've got. Which means everyone suddenly wants me. Government. Cult. Even my half-sister Akira Steinhelm. And I just wanted to fix engines and smoke in peace. Instead I'm stuck in this rusted hellhole waiting to see how many nails do I have to drive into my neck to get out. Welcome to APOSTATIC, BITCH

The story continues with humanity as they face more challenges in the dangerous world of Magic and Gods. Unlike the native races, humanity cannot channel mana naturally and were viewed as inferiors because of it. But through sheer ingenuity, mankind have adapted it for technological use by crafting magi-tech devices that allow them to harness mana without ever casting a spell. This limitation paradoxically grants them a unique advantage to create weapons and technologies that rival and sometimes even surpass the might of demigods. However, there is still a very long road before true mastery can be claimed as mankind is far from reaching the pinnacle of magical understanding for higher levels of magic exist that render even their most advanced creations insignificant. In this world, there are beings whose power spans from continental devastation to planetary annihilation, capable of wiping out nations with a single strike. Beyond raw power, there are even Spiritual Lifeforms who can regenerate endlessly as long as their souls remain intact. Even more terrifying are the countless "hax" abilities that defy logic and science altogether spread throughout the higher civilizations of the New World. These include powers such as Soul Manipulation, Fate Manipulation, Reality Warping, Immortality, Time Manipulation, Intangibility, Death Manipulation, and even Existence Erasure itself. In comparison to these supernatural phenomena, humanity's magi-tech, though immensely superior to Modern Earth's technology, is still only scratching the surface of the vast and often incomprehensible potential of mana. From Demon Lords to Sea Monarchs, from True Dragons to the Old Gods, and even from Alien Invaders to Lovecraftian Horrors beyond the stars, humanity is tested endlessly both physically and mentally in this strange and unforgiving world. Can mankind as a whole overcome these dangers and guide a world filled with countless horrors toward peace?

It's not the blade that kills, it's the applause. Whitechapel, 1888. Amid the acrid fumes of the Star's printing presses and the mud of Millers Court, something older than man is taking shape. Don't look for a lone assassin in a top hat: look for a predator made of ink, institutional silence, and collective morbidity. The Dragon of Mist is hungry, and London is ready to offer its finest blood to feed the myth. 2026. Everywhere and nowhere. Alejandro Fiorenova is a digital ghost, a homeless voice inhabiting forgotten servers and archives. He has no location to name, only an open Google Doc and a connection too fast for his sanity. While his dog Pimpa snores, ignoring the abyss and the bureaucracy of the physical world knocking on the door in the form of reports and human interference, Alejandro dissects Scotland Yard's reports. What is the connection between a surgical operation in the darkness of a courtyard and the algorithm that today suggests horror to us in real time? >"The truth is not a stroke of genius, but a stumble. It is Inspector Pendalton's slip in the mud that reveals the stain the luminaries wanted to cover up." > In a journey through the scarlet engravings of the past and the cold investigations of a borderless present, LONDON 1888 throws us in the face with the question that no one wants to ask: if Jack is an invention of our darkest desires, who among us can truly say we are innocent? Why read this book: * The Above: A visceral Dark Fantasy that transforms the Victorian fog into a sentient parasite. * The Below: A rigorous historical investigation that dismantles the false myths of "Ripperology". * The True: The chronicle of a ghost-researcher who in 2026 battles his own dragons, between stumbles of fate and the search for meaning in the chaos.

But the next day, December 11, something impossible happened: the entire Philippine archipelago, along with American ships and Filipino people in Asia, vanished without a trace.
