I had suffered long enough the pain the hurt the discomfort of living in the same house as someone who I feared so much. These years of pain had become too much. I am a lost soul looking for a way out.

"Scott... I, I- I have cancer." I say, shutting my eyes, waiting nervously for his reaction. "What?" He asks, in disbelief. "Yeah, I have-" "Don't say it again, Stiles!" He snaps, cutting me off. Stiles didn't ask for this, but that didn't mean he didn't want it. He loved the Pack with all his heart, but Derek, not so much. He was an asshole, he may have a good reason to be an asshole but he was still an asshole and now Stiles had to deal with him. Stiles and Scott have known about the dangers of the world they live in, since Scott became a werewolf, little under 3 years ago. But now the super natural world is changing. What if the night they found the body Stiles bumped into Derek Hale? And what if Stiles is a little different to how we've seen him in the show? In my version of events things are a little different and right from the start there is a profound connection between Stiles and Derek. Obviously I do not own Teen Wolf or any of its characters I only own this plot-line so I'd appreciate it if it wasn't stolen.

Derek Hale is the black sheep of the family, always has been. That's why he moved to Seattle. Now he's got a job he loves, a nice apartment with an incredibly hot and endearing neighbor, Stiles Stilinski. One night when Derek's overly large and demanding family shows up early for their yearly visit, they run into Stiles, who is accidentally introduced as Derek's boyfriend.

When you're the mother of a pack of werewolves and any other supernatural that's been thrown in, you get used to people climbing through your window, clingy pups, and being mated to the most sourwolf in the history of sourwolves. Derek asked, looking through the open window at the glittering stars and the big bright, ever-changing moon in the sky. "Moon Crystals, aren't from the moon. We call them Moon Crystals because they glow with the phases of the moon, constantly changing just like the moon." Talia explained to her son. "Why are they so important?" Derek's eyes filled with more wonder with this mother's answer to his question. "They're important because we give them to our loved ones and mates. Moon Crystals are very rare and are only found in certain places in the world; people travel from very far to try and find one. Giving a mate a Moon Crystal is like proposing to normal humans." Scott has been with Allison and so has Isaac. After the death of Allison, he starts to realize that he has feelings for Isaac.
