Stiles is a mermaid Derek is a mermaid hunter While Stiles tries to stay alive every night the mermaid hunters dive into the ocean to hunt them down and kill them, Derek is happily enjoying his life as a hunter. And what if Stiles was never found after that accident Derek came home after a regular day of school ( Derek is younger in this story than in the show) and broke down when he saw that his precious house and family members where burn to ashes. Stiles didn't ask for this, but that didn't mean he didn't want it. He loved the Pack with all his heart, but Derek, not so much. He was an asshole, he may have a good reason to be an asshole but he was still an asshole and now Stiles had to deal with him.
