Both brothers will then try to keep going on with their life, trying to recover. But one of them will never let go. How will he react when they both find out that Elena, Katherine's doppelganger? What will happen to them? To him? To her?

Caroline Forbes has been in love with her best friend Stefan Salvatore but has been too scared to tell him how she feels, afraid of rejection, afraid that he will say he only thinks about her as just a friend. How will he get his love back? And if he does manage to get her memories back, how will he ever convince her to forgive him after he hurt her so badly by leaving after she confessed her love?
