the house is overcrowded. every night, more survivors arrive. every night, someone argues over whether the newcomers are human. the tension gets worse when supplies start disappearing. everyone immediately starts blaming stoner. why? because he's always wandering around at odd hours, always seems distracted, and nobody can tell what he's thinking. everyone except Yesenin.

Leadership changes at MIRA, and Captain's crew has to transition from the Airship to SKELD. The lack of space causes a physical closeness that leads to many romances and rivalries. It doesn't help that the new boss at MIRA HQ is dedicated to splitting apart the crew. Luckily, they have friendship and trust to save them... for now. Established ships at the beginning will be EngineerxGnome, BdayxRose and GentlemanxMrCheese, however, more ships than that will be endgame! Content warnings later on for homophobia, mild drug use (aka weed and maybe alcohol/cigarettes), violence, etc, nothing too extreme and nothing sexual. Labeled non-mature for now but may be updated. If anything more specific happens I'll probably add it to the chapter notes. Profile picture is mine and I may change it later.

I snuck in the house with guilt weighing on my heart. I knew I had done wrong; my conscious told me so. Adultery is a crime, and now I had to face the charges of said crime. Light danced across the floor as a person was pacing back and forth in front of it. The light at the end of the hallway. I'd snicker at the irony if it weren't under such circumstances. I moved in calculated movements toward the door. My breath rattled out of my mouth as I finally met my destination. "You'll be fine, what's the worst that could happen?" I told myself. Which was an honest question. What really was the worst that could happen? My wife could divorce me, but that'd be doing us both a favor. I could lose my job, but it's not like I actually enjoyed it anyways. I could go to jail... Before I could prepare myself further, light smacked my sensitive eyes, and I winced. "Someone's been a naughty boy, I'll be taking you downtown.." My wife sneered as she smacked a plastic baton against her other hand.
