Mother Earth has always been kind to humanity. At least, she was. Out of frustration with human kind, she rips the world in two. Mother Earth soon gets lonely and bored of her previous decision. She wants a change. She wants the world to come together, and merge as one once again. That's when she blesses Elyssa and Edmund. The chosen boy and girl, Elyssa and Edmund, are both outcasts in their own world. They were once nobodies. But now, as tension and drama thickens, they seem to be the only hope for survival. We keep hating on stereotypical characters. But no one ever bothers about how these characters feel about acting out the role they were meant to play. See things from the perspective of different cliche stereotypes characters. Let's break open cliches and see why they do what they do.
