Through her stubborn but ultimately tired attitude, we see that we may not always be ready for tomorrow, but we can still say goodbye to yesterday...

Rayne was only 15 when the ship carrying her and her parents was swallowed by the waves. Washed up on the shore of an island far from home, Rayne finds herself without friends in an unfamiliar world. There are fire-breathing creatures she has never seen. Dragons. One befriends her, and the two form an easy alliance. Ever since Storm was a little girl her dream was to become a Chaser. Storm is a 16 year old girl in Faulkand Unit, a group of teenagers in training to become chasers. She is a Walker. Some might say top of her class and with help from her 'friend' Andy (the only Runner in their unit) she gets better and better. NOTE: Walkers, Runners and Chasers are ranks of storm chasers. Faulkand Unit is Storm and Andy's Squadron.
