Last year, the #StrangeLit writing workshop by Buqo produced four ebooks and one of those is the Darkest Dreams. The Darkest Dreams is an anthology of stories that somewhat has a theme of finding one's true self or accepting your quirkiness or weirdness. One of the stories there, "Melt" which was written by me embodies the central theme of the anthology. It is about a guy who has a deep & dark secret that he kept to himself for the longest time. Hiraya was a theater group run by people whose beauty Amber calls 'otherworldly' (exhibit A: her boss, Amarissa with her pale skin and grey eyes). There are other things at Hiraya that she found strange as well. The first time she went there, the people she met started upon seeing her as though she was someone else. Amber also thinks there were times that she thought Amarissa's eyes would turn blue, but that could just be a trick of the light.
