Welcome to the 20-David Group. AKA, where I got all of my crack energy out so I could actually write cute Stris short stories. These messages are in no way what I actually believe the squad texts; nor will you find quality writing here. For my more realistic writing, please see "SWAT Short Stories." Street was taken hostage on a plane (5x19) and once saved by 20 Squad, he left the tarmac with a flight attendant before he and Chris had a chance to talk...really talk, so that's exactly what happened after shift. Have you ever imagined being in the shoes of the writers of the show? Which scene would you pick, and what would you change about it? Chris comes back from working abroad in Paris for the TLI program and has finally realized and accepted that she's in love with Street. Willing to fully risk losing her spot on the team, she's ready to come clean about her feelings and give them the shot he's been fighting for years. The question is; are her and Jim on the same page? ____ "Maybe we should both just stop running," she tried. Jim shook his head. "I stopped running three months ago. You made it explicitly clear that you wanted nothing to do with me, so that's what I got accustomed to. You can't come back, after four months of absolutely nothing, and just decide that we can finally give us a shot just because you decided that you're ready. That's not how that works."

Two members of 20 Squad have been trying to keep a secret, but it's only a matter of time before everyone finds out. I was challenged to write a small scene that takes place at the end of each new episode where we get a glimpse into stris, so these are one shots of how the episode really ends for me. This story is set after Jim's liver transplant but before Chris and Luca get back from TLI so Chris and Luca are in for a big surprise when they meet ,a 20 David squad members little sister the new girl at S.W.A.T she's quick witted and funny, she becomes the person everyone counts on when things get tough. She also isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She brings out the best in all of them. In different ways. All the original characters belong to CBS.

Immediately following the events of 5x22, Chris and Street have to navigate a new relationship road block that could really change everything.
