Long story short, The Avengers had been given one of those days where heroes are free to chill and do whatever they wanted to do. This is my romantic retelling of the hidden love story Marvel brought us 10 years ago between Steven Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes. My story starts in the 1920's before Captain America: The First Avenger and continues on past The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. *Full Warning* This story will contain homophobic slurs, violence, depression, and a lot of other nasty things that were common to do to homosexuals in the 1900's before the LGBTQ+ community was accepted. This story will also contain heavy sexual content, so if any of that kind of stuff offends or triggers you please look out for the Bold Text that will be warning you for such topics. When Bucky moves in with Steve into the Avengers Tower, life changes. Between trying to figure out who he was long ago, and dealing with the new world, Bucky's life is about to become a little crazy. Add a little romance, and voila; chaos.

Steve is sick, Peter is devastated and everyone is trying to help. Wanda is missing her period and her and Steve bond grows more.

Steve puts the wrong number in while trying to text Tony and accidentally texts someone called 'Bambi' Soon, Bucky, MJ, Ned, Nat, and more join! All in all, it's a very messed up family. After waking up from the ice, Steve gets lost in his own head. The avengers notice that Steve gets distant. After a lot of coaxing Steve starts telling the avengers about his past with Bucky. Eventually they all begin to know and love Bucky as well. Soon, a new villain more powerful, skilled and ruthless as the Black Widow shows up and the avengers are forced to fight the Winter Soldier.

The whole marvel gang are back and in high school. Will alliances hold true, will hydra be a problem? Who knows. Steve's first day is interesting, as he meets the well known Bucky Barnes. What'll happen? These characters belong to marvel only, I don't actually own any of these characters.

James Buchanan Barnes, who supposedly fell to his death, was found by Hydra and rid off his memories. After getting rid of his memories and being frozen in ice and given the Winter Soldier Serum, Hydra used Bucky for ninety years, refreshing his mind almost every single day after a mission. Then he met Steve. What if Bucky had never been found by Hydra? What if a person found Bucky's unconscious body, thought him dead, and threw him off to an icy river somewhere, where Bucky stayed quickly frozen underwater, like Steve, but miraculously not dead? Then, Natasha Romanoff, ninety years later, went swimming in the same river which had saved Bucky Barnes, found him floating somewhere nearby. She took him home, for she had recognized his face from Steve's description and drawings. But she never told Steve she had found him. Until one day, Steve found letters all over the place in the Avengers facility, hidden in little corners and behind unsuspecting objects, addressed to him in messy, almost unreadable handwriting. But Steve knew the illiterate penmanship so well his heart ached and burned with determination and hope. When he sneaked into Natasha's place one night, all he found was his red-haired friend sleeping on the couch in the living room. And somewhere upstairs, shattered glass and a note.

James Buchanan Barnes is just another father to a six-year-old in America, his Winter Soldier past put behind him when T'challa's scientists found a cure to kill the effects of the serum inside him. Of course, the cure has to have a side effect to it. T'challa's cure entails one horrible side effect: Bucky will lose his memories of the person closest to him. I think we all know who that is. Then, out of the blue, a crisis strikes Bucky's family life. Fearful and stricken, he is at a loss at how to salvage his crumbling life, when he meets a man named Steven Grant Rogers. It's been years, many changes happened and he went through a lot. Sometimes you can't help but let the past haunt you.

Tony isn't too happy to have Bucky back on the team, but when he needs everyone's help taking down a possible surviving hydra base in the middle of nowhere, he takes what he can get. And Bucky turns out to save them, well, Cap, in more ways then he can understand. (Aka Steve starts having a panic attack about being Captain America, throws his shield down, and runs, and when tony can't calm him down Bucky can.)
