The Auction is the form of selling or offering any products/items or extraordinary thing for sale in which the highest bidder will pay for it. However, there is this girl from Philippines named Ysa. She is the modest, naïve and pure girl you'll ever know. She is struggling in life as goes by taking care of her family. At the same time, she is an incoming college freshmen from a public school but she have siblings and a sick mother to support from. She went to The Auction and she offers something private and unexpected thing. She is very motivated to do everything for her family and get away from poor life she's been experiencing until now. She thought that is the only thing that can make their life reasonable. Little did she know, it is not the hardest thing she is experiencing and someone will come to mess with her life and make it even more pathetic.

Ashton Clarke is not your ordinary high school teenager. With his extraordinary powers to form things, he might just be one of the most wanted people in the S.C.A.W. Community. Basically, the world is supposedly scheduled to end 2 months later due to a predicted war declared by the enemy. The university he got into trains them into that. The war was said to be so destructive that the whole universe would be exterminated too. The goal of Hennan University is not to stop the war but to fight it. The growing sense of mystery, thrill and suspense fills Ashton within the time he is preparing for the war. Is time enough for the students of Hennan University to gain the needed energy to fight the war?

This is one chapter from my novel, Inferior, an epic monomyth set in a dystopian future. In this future, genetically engineered humans, Superiors, rule over Inferiors (non-genetically engineered human beings). Faced with possible extinction, the Council Superior (the six oldest Superiors who act as a governing body) develops a plan involving the Inferior (or maybe not so Inferior) youth named Chaos. This chapter falls at about the first quarter mark in the book and gives the audience the best glimpse into the overall plot of the larger text.
