This is a fanbased story on the Avatar series focusing on Mekeya (OC) and Neteyam. Mainly focusing on healing journey, finding belonging, finding love. It continues from the thrid movie 'Fire and ash'. Some plots have changed a little bit. All the changes are explained in the first chapter.

(IN HIATUS) THINGS TO NOTE: I do not own rights to the franchise of Avatar, the setting and characters all fall under the ownership of James Cameron - all with the exception of Oa're. However, I did make the cover for this book ! -- She, whose teal-light skin glimmers as softly as the waves, and her hair a texture a tad bit too wavy for someone who lives in the forest - Oa're sticks out like a 'sore thumb' as the Sulli kids call her. But then again, she isn't the only one who sticks out in the midst of darkly-colored forest n'avi. In the base of the Hallelujah mountains of the now displaced Omatikaya; there lies a station full of pink skins. Humans. And one notably a bit too close for Neytiri's liking. This tale will follow the whispers of relationships untraditional, bonds made - to others, with someone unethical. This out of place n'avi finds herself stuck with an arrogant bunch of predators, the recoms who were brought back to life by unimaginable methods. Human methods. A boy who's too na'vi to be a human, and a supposed dreamwalker that isn't welcomed by Pandora's arms. But with a sign from Eywa; maybe he isn't so unwelcomed after all.

Norm gave his daughter a Na'vi sounding name, because even though she is born a human in Pandora, he would raise her amongst the Omaticaya, the clan of Na'vi whom he holds close to his heart, and she too would grow to love dearly. Mo'ira enjoys the freedom of having two identities; as the daughter of one of the head scientists of the avatar program, she has the privilege of having an avatar of her own. But things grow complicated when she find that her feelings for a certain Sully kid have changed through the years. She longs to be with him, but struggles to fully give up her human identity. She always knew if it were Spider, he'd do the same thing Jake did many years ago to become fully Na'vi in a heart beat; but when it comes to her, the decision is not a simple... Written in 2nd point of view but no use of "Y/N" (If there are plot lines/characters that you don't recognize from either Avatar movies, they are most likely from the Avatar comic books the Last Shadow or the 3 volumes of High Ground) The title is inspired by the Korean song "Like Water" by Wendy from Red Velve "My love is like water, filling your sore spots, it covers the deep wounds and embraces you tightly, It makes you rise again. Once upon a time, there was a Metkayina girl (Eyla, 17 years old) She lived in the middle of nowhere. Where no Na'vi lived. Her parents left her alone. They changed their home when she was a young girl. She is not an outcast. Sometimes she is at the reef with some kids. Because her job is to teach the way of water. For the rest of the day she is always in the water or in the middle of nowhere where her home is. But then one day there is a boy named Neteyam (18years old )and she gets out of her comfort zone because of him. And it turns out she's a very strong and very kind woman. Disclaimer: English isn't my native language!!!!!!

Uulam te Azang Ayokin'ite. A girl who was a stray Na'vi. She was part Metkayina part Txon'ite (snow). Her parents died when she was younger in war as she searched around, becoming a stray as she met with the metkayina, joining Ronal's family as she became the middle child of theirs but looked nothing like them. Meeting the sully's she instantly connected with Neteyam, growing a little crush just as the sullys bring war amongst them. Neteyam sully X oc At'ok te Suli Tsyeyk'itan. The oldest son of the sully's. Being 16 he has a lot of things on his shoulders. He has to balance becoming a warrior and protecting his family from the sky people as they come back and the sully's have to fight for their lives once again, leaving the forest that they loved so much and left to the Metkayina where they meet Tsireya, Aonung, Uulam, Ronal, and Tonowari along with much other Metkayina's. Coming to the ocean reef wasn't all bad until Quartich found them once again and they would have to go to war again.

(Trans)MascOCxLo'ak Elijah was born on Pandora, a similar situation to Spider. But unlike spider Elijah has his eyes on a different member of the Sully family. Lo'ak. Elijah faces internalized transphobia and homophobia while trying to appeal to Lo'ak .

Aytaya is the daughter of tonowari and Ronal She is the oldest but only by two minutes her twin brother is an'nong and her younger sister tsireya she has all the responsibility to train to be a warrior a healer and the next tsahìk so what happens when she mates with neteyam.

Let's pretend Neteyam was still alive and this story takes place after the third movie (please do watch it to have a better insight about this story). After the fearsome battle against the sky people and Mangkwan, the Sullys and the rest of the Metkayina clan had their peaceful days. The sky people temporarily withdraw their existence against Pandora, however this isn't the end of it, this is just the beginning of an adventure. Quick disclaimer: Please don't attack me if the characters or the places or the tribes are not like in the movie, AGAIN this is just a figure of my own imagination.

Summers over in Sterling Point however the weather is the only thing cooling down. As a harsh winter rolls in the islanders must find a way to survive together without the exception of a plethora of emotional hurdles and surprise appearances. From as far as New York to Muskoka the core friend group must finally come to terms with their hardships.
