I have always felt like there is something wrong with me or my body, like if something is missing. There is only two things I like about my body. My long, slightly wavy, brown-blond hair and my forest green eyes.
But yet, I'm not satisfied with my body. I'm not saying that I'm overweight or too skinny, I have a healthy body, and I'm happy for that. But it still feels like something is missing every time I look at my body. Like something inside me is gone and makes me think something is wrong. Maybe I just turned crazy after all. At least, they said it would be normal if my sanity got a bit...twisted.
I always have this hollow feeling inside of me. Like there's an another part of me is missing. But how could that happen? I guess it had bigger effect on me than I thought. Well, after all, I am a human and I can't change that.
I look in the mirror. Standing in just a sports bra and sweatpants. It was dark outside, and in the mirror the reflection of a full moon was showing. My scars was almost glowing in the light of the moon. Clearly standing out from my "regular" skin.
Memories from how I got the scars flashed back and forth in my head.
I was no longer the sweet, shy and innocent girl I once was. I have turned into a person that sees every stranger as a threat. Enemies everywhere I turn.
My job is to protect. And protect I will. Even if it means that I have to sacrifice my own life.
