He is fictional, but he represents me. He doesn't know every Astra or mantra. He struggles, he is sometimes outmatched, and he falls. But he always gets back up. I've admired Karna since I was young. I didn't want to make Arjuna weak just to make Karna look strong, nor did I want Karna to die helplessly because of his curses. I wanted a fierce, fair confrontation where Karna fought with everything he had. I don't want him to get killed by Arjuna while he is weaponless. That is why the Soul Arrow exists. When Danush released it, Arjuna had no counter. But Karna's brotherly instinct took over. He deliberately stepped into its path-not because he feared death, but to protect his younger brother and preserve the fairness of their final battle. I never intended to erase Karna's fate. I only wanted to give him the dignity, recognition, and fair end I always felt he deserved. Danush was the vessel for that story-a fictional warrior carrying my real thoughts, values, and choices.
