Hayate Daitan is a young ghoul who was born to a very strict family. At the age of 14, she ran away, seeking safety in an abandoned apartment complex, and was forced to learn how to fend for herself. One day she happens to bump into group of CCG, and is unfairly attacked. However, one of the members stands up for her, which unknowingly leads to a twisting path of emotions and events.

Ed and Juuzou have been dating for about 4 months, and have decided to get an apartment together. Ed stays at home whilst Juuzou goes and works with the CCG. Juuzou comes home one day and explains that he has a 3 day vacation, so what do the two decide to do that night to celebrate?
