Now, she found herself in a new kind of uncertainty, bound to a man who seemed to resent her very presence. Abhi's cold demeanour was a constant reminder that she was an unwanted burden, a feeling Pragya was desperate to escape. Dadi, the only beacon of kindness in this desolate landscape, took Pragya under her wing, offering a glimmer of hope. As they worked together in the shop, surrounded by the sights and smells of spices and sweets, Pragya felt a sense of belonging she'd never known before.
