Set after Mockingjay, but before the epilogue, Always- An Everlark Story is about Katniss and Peeta healing and beginning to love again after their trauma. A Peeta and Gale love story.

After the rebellion, the brave and strong 'Girl on Fire's flames begin to slowly die down. After her dear sister's death, ️Katniss goes into deep depression. After all, "Prim was the only thing I was certain I loved". And after Gale is long gone in District 2, her mother in District 4, and her sister dead, Katniss isn't sure there is anything left to live for.
