Hazel is struggling to deal with the loss of Augustus.

"So what are you thinking about," drew asks. "How a girl could ever love a bad boy." "Well it's simple she realizes that he's not all that bad." She was right I bet he wasn't really the person that he showed to me. I bet he was a genuine guy and it saddened me that I would never get to see that part of him, I so craved it. The thought of him being lovable almost made my heart melt. I wanted to see him head over heels for a girl, madly in love with her, mad like the mad hatter. I almost cried knowing that girl was never going to be me, because a genuine Parker Adams now that guy would be a real heart breaker. %%%%%%%%%%% I don't know why but when I looked into her wide eyes my heart skipped a beat. Not because her dress was showing off her body in a revealing way, but because it was her. The fact that she was here was enough for my heart to skip a beat. Out of all the girls in the world by heart only beat for one girl and that was her, Katherine Hill owned my heart.

Afterwards. Hazel doesn't want to leave Isaac. But she wants to see Augustus, if that's remotely possible. But basically, she doesn't want to live. She is only living for Isaac. But maybe Haugustus will get their forever.
