Percy was betrayed, people ignored him when the new camper josh arrived. Even annabeth broke up with him for Josh Smith, son of ares and when he had enough cannot take it anymore he left, will percy come back to camp halfblood?

"He's not the loud, arrogant flirt you think he is. He's... a shy, introverted, sweet boy who watched the world laugh at his pain for centuries." Percy smiled, faint and wistful, remembering the way Apollo had curled up against him just last night during their movie marathon. "Why are you defending him so hard?" Nico asked. His tone was sharp, but it lacked venom now. "You saw him when he was mortal," Percy replied. "That was the real Apollo. And your words-what you said to him just now-broke him."

Poseidon calls in a debt with Artemis to protect Percy when he is 6, and Artemis agrees reluctantly, and until he is 12, she protects him, honoring the debt, and does this by taking the form of a 6 year old mortal, and they become friends, which Artemis never expected. This makes their eventual separation when Percy turns twelve all the more painful. Artemis reveals her true form to him after he saves her from Mount Othrys, no longer being able to stay away from someone who'd become her closest friend and the two grow close once again. Eventually, a series of unexpected events occur, and a new threat is on the rise, and Percy is forced back into the divine world, and this threat makes the previous wars seem like the good old days. At times I know I've made pacing either too fast, or too slow, and things may seem rushed, or that they take forever, but I've done my best to write this as well as I could, this is also the first story I've written in First Person POVs, swapping mainly between Artemis and Percy, occasionally with other characters where it's relevant. Also this story is way longer than I intended it to be initially, mostly because I didn't have a plan, and also because after a certain point I just began saying "You know what? Fuck it. Why not" and adding a lot of stuff, so yeah there's a lot of different sub plots and storylines within this story, that's pretty much the main reason it's so long, I've done my best to make sure there are as few plot holes as possible, and that each arc ends properly, but there's probably still some.

I'd like to point out that this is not my story. This is a continuation of @Midnightlridescence story, 'Rise of Perseus (Perlia)'. The reason I'm making this is because I desperately want a sequel and so does a lot of other people. And the creator of said book hasn't touched it since 2017 while promising a sequel.
