He is supposed to mentor them, so long as he sobers up. It's depressing, every year he gets two kids, prepares them as best he can and sends them to their death. It makes him feel awful. Clarabelle Peterson is no different, a scared little girl who is going to try her damndest. Haymitch is delightfully surprised when she makes her way back. Now he has to help her navigate the aftermath and fallout of the games.
