Failure is what we all are mostly scared of, mainly because of it's meaning written in those dictionaries, 1. Lack of success. 2. An Unsuccessful person or thing.
But what if you were termed as a failure the moment you were born.
A failure in life, a failure in love, a failure for the society and worse, a failure in death.
Abaddon Jordan, the child who was born to be abandoned, as all he could bring to the people around him the moment he was born was misery, dejection and regret. His birth was no happy moment, nor was he someone's little lovely boy. He could not be killed, nor could he die on his own.
He was cursed.
Cursed to face all humiliation around him and yet not lose humanity. A curse to be broken only if he was ever loved back unconditionally with every sacrifice they had to be through.
Jaddie Nan, his mate in his previous life lived in the same village he was taken in and just like others she grew up loathing him. He was nothing but a breathing dirt for everyone in the village. The only thing she could not understand about this man was his appearance in her dreams every night, screaming, undeniably a call for help, for freedom.
She was found on the outskirts of the village but was soon adopted by a fisherman and his wife. A generous couple who did not had their own kids, and was very happy to have her as their child.
Jaddie Nan is a healer by birth, blessed by the Gods in her previous life, but she recalled nothing nor was her power known to anyone neither herself.
An Oracle unites them both, but only Abaddon knew its words. It was the only thing he remembers, from the first day he turned twelve.
