In the course of a single year, Damon Matthews' life was broken, and then slowly patched back together. He grew to love someone that society says he couldn't love, and was willing to give everything to keep them. Does this true story have a happy ending?

*disclaimer - the title is supposed to be a joke referencing the vine* For the small town of Rhinebeck, New York, prom was the biggest event of the year. The shops hiked up their dress prices and suddenly everyone was interested in everyone, trying desperately to get an eligible date before they were all gone. For junior, Finn Palmer, getting a date was easy. He was the basketball soccer team captain, had perfect hair and was all around just a nice guy.
