This story was written in 2013 as an entry for 'Dark Fairytale" anthology (not selected), a theme that has been so popular in fiction, film, and television recently. I have always been a great lover of folk tales and classic mythology, and of course jumped at the chance to add some ghostly elements. This is my take on the classic 'Sleeping Beauty' story, with a dark historical twist.

I published this one before, but I wasn't completely satisfied. So I revised it, gave it a different title, and I'm more content. A second part will eventually be released.
