Applying was the only purpose she had in mind. Her father did ask her to experience what it's like to be in the working class and she agreed on giving it a try. But she wasn't supposed to see this. No, she definitely wasn't supposed to be in this room and in this awfully awkward situation, where she's witnessing her soon-to-be-boss in a rather too intimate, too sexual moment with another woman.
