Humans got a lot more privilege, no matter what metas tried. Protests? Ignored. Hiding your powers? They always found out. It had been going on for decades now, since the first ever meta sighting was recording, and it was common knowledge that metas deserved less. One college student had the brilliant idea to stand up for his fellow metas. For the first time in history, a meta accomplished something and wasn't struck down for it. Logan Croft is very familiar with the feeling of loneliness. He spends most of his time focusing on keeping his grades up, working towards the bright future his father has planned for him. In his free time, Logan lives another life in a VR Game called Paradise +, where you can be anyone you want to be. In this Virtual World, Logan is a traveller named Logic that assists people with their adventures. He is experienced with code and therefore is very skilled in the game. One day, Logan meets Deceit, a mercenary in the virtual world that basically does the opposite of what Logan does. While Logic helps people advance, Deceit will undo progress of a player if hired to by their enemies. For some reason, this mercenary seems to have taken an interest in Logic. Logan, of course, isn't sure he trusts the assassin. Will he be able to avoid Deceit, or will Deceit, one way or another, undo all his progress?
