Her troubled family has left her with a scared self-esteem and difficulty to trust people, her best and only friend is her big brother Rick, who is the only person inside her family that still talks to her. Her neighbour from across the hall, The Wanted's Tom Parker, is a problematic pop star. Alcohol, drugs, and casual sex have taken over his life after a devastating break-up. Both of them have hardly spoken during the five years they have lived across the hall from each other. Lavinia can't stand Tom because he is an annoying neighbour and Tom thinks Lavinia is a control freak. There is a spark between these two and their lives will change for ever.
