After years of the destruction of the Reapers, everyone moved on and accepted that their commander was dead. They finally decided to go out and stay around the Citadel where their last party was. That was before Kaidan got an email from his dead girlfriend, Commander Shepard, requesting him to meet her near the docking bay by the Normandy. He makes the hard decision and listens to the email, which will possibly make him regret it later.

(Mass Effect 2) Commander Shepard hasn't been himself lately, disappearing from the ship at odd times without telling even his closest friends. Fearing Cerberus influence, Tali enlists the other members of the original Normandy crew to investigate.
