19 year old Lyric Hadly lives with her foster parents after her mom and dad died in a plane crash. When her foster dad gets a job out of state, she is forced to move away from her best mate, Allan. In her new home, she has trouble making friends, but when she joins a group based on helping underprivelaged kids, she meets Zane. Zane is in a lot of trouble, that could cost him his life. Lyric feels the need to help this teenager, because if she doesn't, no one else will; but will she be able to?
