Sa isang tahimik na street sa Bacoor, nagsimula ang isang kwento na amoy kakanin at bagong pag-asa. Si Zericho Dalman Arzaga, anak ng may-ari ng maliit na karinderya sanay sa simpleng buhay at maagang pagmulat sa responsibilidad. Si Averine Solaya Manlunas naman, bagong lipat mula Maynila, tahimik pero may ngiting kayang magpatigil ng mundo ng isang grade six na bata.
